[FS - NSW] 1967 VW BEETLE DELUXE - RED - $2,900 - Rego
Name: Jared
Location: Calga NSW (Central Coast near Gosford)
Price: $2,900

I am selling a nice red beetle. Its a 67 1300 deluxe. Its a great bug to drive, engine is good, brakes are good, steering is great. Only downside is
the gearbox is quite noisy and recently I could not get it out of gear. After playing around with the coupling and the selector for a bit I managed to
get it to change gears fine, though it is still noisy.
I have been quoted $350 labour to remove and fit a second hand box. So it could be quite cheap if you can find a cheap second hand gearbox.
The plus side is there is no need to worry about roadworthy, because the bug is still rego'd till April 2012.
Not too much rust either. Heater channels and floors are good. There is a bit of rust in one of the rear guards and the bottom of the drivers door,
but otherwise pretty good.
