new toy


I thought it was about time i posted a few photos of the beetle i picked up a few months ago. its a 68 model , last
regestered 16 years ago.

I will be lowering it lots, freshening up the gearbox, new motor,brakes etc, new seats and some new wheels. (wheels and seats for sale ). Hope you like it, i do.

he had it painted , put new rubbers in it , and then the standard problem - wife, house, kids. and his parents got sick of walking around it. so the 2080 has been removed to makeway for the 2276. gearbox has been beefed up. rear discs , mazda mx5 front seats , lots lower , dont know what type of wheels to go for, new carpet n hood lining etc.

got the drop spindles already. the wheels are only 14s as well which makes it look even higher.
