Lowering rear 1960 Beetle

Gday ok so I have 2.5" drop spindles on the front, going to lower the rear tomorrow from standard.

Question is should I go 2 outer splines or 1. Or go the mixture for an 8cm drop?

Furnish me with your wisdom.

Cheers
JB

With just spindles 1 outer should be enough.

Here is an idea that might help some others. 1 Meter of 10 x 1.5mm threaded rod cut into 4 equal lenghts. A bit of copper pipe and some washers and a nut. It enables really easy setting of IRS cover plate. Let me know if i can help.

You might be pretty sorted, but this makes resetting the plates a breeze
