Anyone with a type 4 motor in Sydney on the floor?
Wondering if anyone has a type 4 motor lying around in Sydney. I want to unbolt the flywheel and bolt an adaptor plate and custom flywheel to it to
check clearances for my project.
Hoping to have a look at one over the long weekend if someone has an hour. Will bring my own tools - and beer.
thanks
Todd

Is Bowral too far for you? I've got one in bits, that you could 'whack together' for a mock-up.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Nope, Bowral's not too far for me...I could come for a drive in the morning. As long as we can get a crank into the case and get the crank spinning
then all is good. Just want to check clearance of the case v adaptor plate v flywheel.
Can you PM me details ?

Thanks so much to HappyDaze for his time this morning. We bolted everything up, check for fit/clearance and then packed it all away. How great is the
VW community when you can have access to resources like this? Thanks again, let me know your preferred beer and I'll send some your way.
cheers
Todd

A pleasure, Todd. It' nice to see someone DOING something, instead of just TALKING about it.
Cheers, Greg
