Plasma Cutters

Hello all,

I am looking at supplementing the tools with a plasma cutter and there seems a wide variety on the market - anyone have any recommendations - just want it for panel work on the many projects that I have stacked up. I cant justify buying an industrial quality one, as I am only going to use every now and then but I dont want a crap one either.

I have a 16cfm compressor which I understand will be big enough for the plasman

Any suggestions ?

Cheers

Peter

I bought an Expert Cut 40 off ebay.
I used my mates one a while back, and it went really well for a cheapie. They're around $400 and cut up to 12mm steel.
Your compressor will be fine. They don't need a lot of pressure, and my supercheap jobbie compressor works fine with it.
I don't use it a great deal, so I didn't want to spend lots either.
