Rack and pinion on a buggy

I am planning on taking the buggy apart to modify my gas tank for fuel injection. While contemplating this I also started to think about how I would accommodate a front mount radiator. The problem with the radiator up front is the angle o the steering box which puts it right in the way of the radiator. So then naturally I started thinking about rack and pinion steering. Has anyone done this with good results still retaining the stock gas tank? Pictures or a build thread would be awesome. Thanks

I. have a daewoo rack in my baja, i couldn't say whether it would fit under the fuel tank and i do warn you if you drive your car hard , chances are you'll need to reenforce the rack abit. ( i broke one already)http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj298/baja53/DSCF1760.jpg

What did you break exactly and what were you doing to break it?

Did you have any photos of the damage?

I ask as I am running the same rack.
