75 bus
I'm going to check out a 75 1800 man bus, it's a fairly long trip and would hopefully make up my mind when I see it, any tips of what to look for?

hey donn
rust is enemy no 1!
check roof n gutters especially, other usual suspects like dog legs, under mats n around front window under rubber, look for bumps in the rubber =
holes
check compliance plate to see how many seats it's comp for
as usually people just bolt in bus seats n call it an 8 seater when it's comp'd as two
+ give it the gray pipe treatment n see how much smoke roars outta the exhaust
good luck n look fwd to pics

Ok, the grey pipe treatment, that's let it idle for a while then a good blip on the right hand pedal, right?.
How long's a piece of string question, what sort of performance can be expected from an 1800 twin carb, give me a number between 1 and 10, 1 being
barely able to get up a slight incline whith driver and one passenger on board.......10 being you may need a neck brace if you stand on it too hard
with the same load.
When the floor cover is lifted in the rear should there be ply under it?
Are GOOD spares readily available.
You may deduce that this is my first foray into the land of Kombies.
