new badge for '75 kombi?

Anyone know where I can find a new badge for a '75 kombi? The local wreckers only have old crumbling broken ones.

Thanks

Mick Motors in Brisbane has aluminium ones (laser cut out) - check out their web site.
I have seen them and they are not exactly the same size as the originals. They also don't have the recesses to clip onto the three clips on the body of the kombi - I guess you glue them on.
They are probably worth a try.
Other than that I don't know if you can get the plastic ones anymore.

Anyone else know?

Thanks

There's something listed on their site as

211 853 619 VW SIGN CLIP ON TYPE 2 '73 ON

I guess that's it. Sounds like glue isn't needed.

I've never bought from Mick's before. Do you think that badge would be new, second-hand, or aluminium replica?

Purple, when I was at Mick Motors a couple of weeks ago I asked about those - but he said that they can't get them anymore.
I dunno, maybe ring them & see.:)

I use one of the $10 resin ones. Painted it silver. Happy with it considering it is quite likely to get ripped off at work.

If you're in Brissie Action wreckers at tingalpa have new plastic ones for $42 I think.
They also have new merc rims 15 & 16" in black for $38.50 each
