Tail lights for my Carrera kit

Hey people,

I need a little help. I have a 65 bug that I've been doing up (roof gone, windows gone, door handles gone) and I've got a sweet careers kit for it. BUT, I do not want to put Torana tail lights or anything similar on the back. I would love some nice Porsche lights that would fit in there making it nice and rounded on the kit. I'm sure there must be a set that would fit perfectly. Does anyone out there have any ideas.

Cheers everyoneText 5

Nothing will click on like LEGO.

What do you want? Just buy them and work it out. It is pretty easy.

I was hoping that someone may know what lights they came out with. I didn't think it would be Torana lights. Kind of hoping a carrera Porsche light may fit

Umm, "they came out" with Torana tail lights - that's what those guards are designed to use.

Best bet (other than ditching the guards) is to find some tail lights you like, then mod the guards to make 'em fit.... it's just fibreglass after all.

I've seen a few using those universal ute/trailer tail lights but they look worse than Torana ones.

Other one I've seen was CC lancer taillights moulded inplace of Torana lights.
Looked pretty sad though.

I say go for the original LH Torana lights. They are original, stock and fit the guards.

Don't like them, then work out what YOU want. There was no genuine Volkswagen modified tail light. YOU have to put what YOU want.
