While Laurie worked on Hilda I got stuck into his 57'.There is a shit load of work getting the drivers side/rear quarter nice and straight (especially when repair panels have been welded in). I probably spent 16 hours so far with probably another 8 hours to get it straight enough to apply some hi fill primer.

Another day of rustoration

Each section you do leads to another.
Both wheel arches and their surrounds need to be replaced and seeing as so much is being cut out it is the time to make any custom mods like the heavy duty extended shock towers.

Sorry Guys, no progress for ages.
Some people say they have been slack or other reasons but I've been flat out with work and a couple of other projects including my daughters bus (buttercup), 2 karmann ghias and of all things a completely rusted out datsun 240k.
My son and I are starting a restoration business and have been heavily investing in gear and sorting a workshop and spraybooth etc.
Good part is that Hilda will be our work/promotional vehicle and we will be kicking the build off again soon so stay tuned.
