[FS-QLD] - Misc Beetle & Baja things, aka "Sides' Shed Cleanout"

Name: Dave Sidery
Location: Morningside, QLD 4170, Australia, Earth
Contact: PM or 0412 181 561

All the bits I have from past projects - everything is pickup, or will deliver around Brisbane for beer (within reason).

Items:
Mid 60's Beetle front lowback seats and matching rear seat... grey velour/velvet on top surfaces, grey vinyl on side surfaces, white piping. Reasonable condition - could bolt into a car as is, but would come up real nice I think if steam cleaned. No rips or tears in cloth parts, but a few holes and rub marks in the vinyl sides. Metalwork could do with repainting also. SOLD

12V Beetle "under back seat board bits with the heater hole in 'em"... I'm sure that's the technical name for them. Straight, no holes/tears - just need a bit of a clean.SOLD

NEW EMPI exhaust system... single outlet on driver's side, heat risers (not drilled) and standard clamp type connections to heater boxes. Never fitted, so no idea what it sounds like. Pipes measure bit under 1 1/2" OD (1 3/8" maybe?). SOLD

Baja fiberglass front bonnet. Been told it's from a Manx kit. Good used condition - no cracks or anything like that, but a few chips in the gelcoat around the edges, and you'd want to replace the rubber tiedown thingy's $30

NEW Baja fiberglass front guards. Never even had the guard bolt or headlight holes put in 'em. NFI what brand or style - they flare upwards on the outside edge (see pics) $80 the pair

Baja rear guards and air scoop/engine cover. Reasonable condition - solid, but a few chips etc. Again no idea on brand or style, but the guards have a thick edge that looks like the stock turned under lip. $50.

Or $150 for all the Baja stuff

(pics to come)

6V Beetle tail light lenses - used but in Good Condition - no fading etc. Not even sure where I got these from, but have no markings so suspect their repro. $10 the pair

14"/350mm Formuling 4 spoke steering wheel, boss to suit Beetle (used to be on my 70). Missing the plastic horn push (crumbled apart), but otherwise VGC. $50

(pics to come)

To be honest Shane I'd prefer to avoid hassle of boxing up, taking to the PO etc.... but if they're still here in a few days time, then sure - can do.

Hey Dave

quick question, do you have an interior mirror with white stalk that you are willing to part with? If so how much?

Does not need to be day/night! Would be nice though :)

Cheers

Adam
