Can someone tell me if the hood rubber for a 69 beetle is this one offered by Vollks?

Yep I bought the same from Cip1 for the wifes '70 bug..has the barbed rubber pins for the top corners..They go in easy if you pull them from underneath..Maby use a water and dishwashing liquid in a spray bottle too.The wifes is 90% done as I need to cut and glue the seal to size at the nose..so you will need superglue or rubber cement too..

be carefull

I dont cut at at the "tip" as this is where the pressure is and the hood closing on it will always push it apart

See if you can make it more round to the side where there is less pressure from the hood and your join will last longer
