Bought a beetle, what to do with it?

Picked up this 1973 L bug. It has suffered an engine fire that at first glance looked bad. My son cleaned up the worst of the mess and removed the melted plastic bits. Remarkably it looks like the engine is salvageable! I have a new bonnet and the running boards, so it looks like it is going to join the project queue behind my T3 and 73 camper. Hmmm, What to do with it ?

don't do anything with it until you get the money saved or it will just end up as boxes of bits and pieces. :fakesniff:
