Well they didn't cut her up at least, sort of lime green bottom, not for me, white topsides. To be honest they didn't go too crazy, could be taken
back to original without too much drama.
Disappointed they didn't show any engine or suspension stuff,
just some nice wheels. At least it's a VW on telly and any VW on the box floats my boat!

Yeah, bog up special Give it 2 years max before that gutter rust
comes back 10 times worse !! My comments above were before the shot of the daylight streaming through the gutter rust. I shuddered as they folded the
front bumper in half, but then they did seem to respect the age of it.

Was wondering about the alloy and steel, is it common to mix
those two in the panel beating world? Not a good mix surely!

Common.... sort of, a good mix...... definately not.
Repairs of that nature should have all rust repairs fully welded with steel, the better the job, the less anyone could ever tell it's been
repaired....even under the paint.
