EarlyTransaxle to later chassis adapter
Hey guys, hoping someone might know of something that exists for this......
Purchased a Rancho Transmission, Swing Axles - and as the Yanks only had the IRS box from 68 on, I am assuming they only used the earlier two bolt
style Transaxle front mount?
My chassis is a 1974, so later 3 bolt style.
Therefore, Anyone make an adapter to fit the earlier style mount to the later three bolt style chassis?
Or
Can I swap the shifter (hockey stick area) nose cone from my original tranny to the new Rancho one?
Or
Do I just have to make something?

Do you still have the original gearbox/nose cone/hockey stick from the '74?

Yeah, besides the axles the old tranny is complete, stuffed 4th gear though.
Eh, I will just make an adapter!

Hi
As above, just make sure the hockey stick is in the correct place, you don't want to find out you have it wrong when the trans is in the car.
When you remove the incorrect nose cone you want all the internal selectors lined up, that's neutral, when you bolt it back together you should be
able to swing the shifter rod between the selectors.
