Wiper Arms
Howdy!
I might as well just ask this here as it isn't really something that needs to be discussed/vital.
A while back some idiots decided to warp my wiper arms on Zelda. The aim is to get some brand new ones.
Now, I've looked around on various websites and I'm not 100% sure what ones I should be buying as there are all different types. As Zelda is a 1303S
and she enjoys having a curved windscreen, I'm going to assume they are different...
Same would go for the wiper blade assembly too, which in actual fact, I need to buy a pair of too. I've taken a look on Classic Vee-Dub and haven't
really found too much (or I'm looking in the wrong place) and have taken a look on Just Kampers Australia too (they seem to have more of a
variety).
I was just wondering what ones were the correct ones to purchase?
My current guesses. Right and Left.
Cheers!

This is one time I would leave it up to the experts.
I suggest ringing MIck Motors or VVD or just Kampers..
its not something that wears out [apart from the blades]
they would be different wiper arms to the rest of beetles..
1303 Owners on here may be able to help..

Lee,
Unfortunately with me being overseas I can't actually call anyone, I might just send Just Kampers and email asking them what I've posted up on here
and see what sort of reply I get.
Yeah, I figured they'd be different, the ones I linked too I'm pretty sure are the ones for te 1303 but just needed someone with one to confirm or
deny
Thanks!

Be careful as these may be an Australia only arm. (not sure)
Try contacting VVDS as they would have local knowledge.
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.
Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!

It's Summer here in adelaide, you have plenty of time to find new ones.

I got creative after years of battling with shitty worn out VW wiper arms and blades.
I'm sure you've already seen my solution of chopped down AU Falcon wiper arms with modern blades.

Nah their not.
Lbugs use the same base/splines as flat screen beetles its just the arm part is longer.
There are Lbugs getting around with flat screen beetle wipers but they don't cover much of the screen.
I don't think I have any that are worth using but i'll have a squiz anyway.

Ahaha I know Turbo54, but I have also heard there have been thunderstorms
Regardless, want to start blacking out all the chrome stuff that's all.
I hate chrome trim, so will be painting it all when I get back.

Joel,
Of course I've seen your example of wiper blades, want to make me a pair? :P
I just want to get my monies worth and from Just Kampers the are quite expensive.
But as Turbo54 said, it isn't Winter just yet so I have time.

I'm here in Adelaide picking up a dub for a mate, taking it back to Newie. It's starting to rain as I write this, hope it doesn't set in or get
worse, just checked the wipers to make sure they work and they are sooooo slooooow, much slower than on the wench, normal? What can I check? Sorry to
be hijacking Sebastien.

Yeah donn, have heard that the rain keeps coming in Adelaide!
No problem in hijacking man, the more input the better, and if it means someone helps you with your problem then that makes it even better!
