Type 3 squareback - repair rust or leave for buyer
I'm selling a type 3 for someone. There is very minor rust around the rear at the gutters and in a couple of spots around the rear side windows. The
ad is posted in the markets at present. My question is - am I more likely to get a sale to an enthusiast (which is where I would prefer the car to go)
by leaving the rust there for the new owner to fix (therefore giving an honest representation of the minimal amount of rust on an otherwise
exceptional car), or do people prefer to pay more for something that is ready to go and has the rust fixed. I have the facilities and know how to do
the repairs but the time and materials would have to be factored into the cost.
Do people prefer to see what they are getting and do the work themselves?

Yeah I personally look for resoanble cars that havn't be touched and are original as posible.
yep honest representation of the car is a best way to do it.

I am still looking at the car and hoping to view it, how much do you expect you would charge for repair? Personally i would rather fix it myself
