Unusual Flash trim


Saw this Beetle over on the bay posted her in Rats, someone
on here would know about the unusual flash trim, is that Oz an or overseas extra?

Pretty sure Birchall has a dub with that style

I don't think so.... IMHO..

Not sure whether I can remember seeing that flash on VWs
the other one has an extra piece of trim towards the end..
the front of that trim doesn't look too good...!!

Hi Dave, I have a trim, still in the box, which I found at a Melbourne wrecker in the late 80's that is different to all those in the book on your link. I'll see if I can dig it out and take a photo to ad to the trim thread. Can't remember if it has a brand on the box or not???? been awhile since I looked at it.

I could live with the trim on the top Beetle but that middle
one, my opinion ugly. Can see why you don't see that one much, maybe ugly is a bit harsh lets go with unique!
