drilling for 4x100 studs
geday all i have my template for turning betle 4x130 into 4x100 i had it made a few years ago and have used it a lot you bolt it onto your drum or
disc with standard vw bolts and then using a drill that fits into the 4x100 holes to just make a small guild indent then remove the disc and drive 12
mm studs into the drum or disc and put some mags on and there is a great many mags of that hole patten around
don't tell me about safty and i have had them on a bug for years and i know engernearing bla bla bla if you want it then give me $20.00 plus post

I read on here that 4 x 100mm PCD is only advisable to be drilled next to the original VW bolts so they bolt into the thick part of the brake
drum..
the 4 x 100 fit neatly above the VW bolt holes..
although as You say, You could drive around on them all day and never had any problems..
I did see also on here years ago, where a very nice looking beetle was involved in an accident and the insurance company wiped him, because from
memory, one of his front wheels hit the gutter after the accident, and the brake drum broke away, with the wheel coming off...
as He had redrilled the brake drums..
I'm wondering whether new blank drums have a uniform thickness..?? all the way round??
I've always wondered about redrilling drums and how You got it perfect...
Now I know...
