[FS - NSW] SOLD SOLD SOLD

Sorry, when I changed the title I took away what year it is. 1974 1300 Beetle.

Hi all,

I'm sure a lot of you will know this car, but I bought it for the Dave Butler built gearbox only. It now has a standard gearbox in it.

Anyway, as you can see in the photos it has a Craig Torrens 5 bar kafer kit fitted, alloy running boards, mag wheels, sports steering wheel, tinted tail lights, Pioneer CD stereo, Alpine amp and speakers.

What it doesn't have is an engine :no::no:

The floor pans look good as are the heater channels, the only rust that I can see is on the two 'C' pillars. It hasn't broken through yet, only bubbling under the paint.

I believe the car looks better in the photos than what it is, so come see for yourself.

Car is for sale as is, where is as you will need a trailer. If you are not to far from Liverpool I can deliver for a small agreed amount (to be arranged).

NOTE: Car is not registered.

Thanks, Kevin

Hi all,

I waited until the weekend was over to give people a chance to read the add and too see if I had any calls (1 only).

Seeing as a few people quickly said this was a good buy and cheap, I thought I may of had more response.

Anyway, just bumping it back up top and if no interest by next Sunday it will be going on ebay.

Thanks, Kev

Lee, yeah I agree about not having enough room it's a bugger.

To the two people that called me today, the car is available so first in best dressed (as they say).

tar76 - as too your question re rego, I think the drivers seat would need fixing (coming apart at seems) but from what I am told if you went there with seat covers you would be ok. A steel brake line had rubbed through and I fitted a spare I have here, but they could do with an adjustment and a good bleed. Other than that, I think you would be right as it was registered in NSW and I have rego papers somewhere here at home.

Thanks, Kev

Hi Simon,

I think you will be quite happy with the new owner to be, but I will let him/her reveal their identity when ready.

With that said, I think there will also be a lot of other people happy with whom is buying the car as it wont be only the new owner that is happy to see this car :!:

Got you thinking yet :?:

Sorry to tease, but you are just going to have to wait.

Kev
