So why did it catch fire? Just read through the thread and don't remember seeing if you mentioned why you had a BBQ.

It isn't mirrors that fall off my kombi at speed!! When I hit 160+ my wipers work their way up the screen to 12 o'clock!! Lol

Fuel dump in cyl1 and barrel ignited and thus in turn ignited filter , by the time I knew it lit all the wiring was cooked and the carb.

I would be looking close at that carb

Back on page 7 you said you had fuel pooling problems with that carb

yup, sticky fingers in there. Been pulled down, cleaned.. rebuilt, checked and the donk is now going down to leons for a bench test......

Pop out for passenger side from errrr , a company in the states, i can't quiet remember, and fixed on the drivers side.

I try to think who it was and post up for you,it wasn't fudging cheap and I wouldn't do it again...

Did you just bolt it to the front and rear bumper bar mounts.

from memory yeah,bolted it then wrapped a large tie down stap around it too...just to be safe
