1977 / 78 Volkswagen Kombi Van, 2 Litre engine, Manual Transmission.
Still registered with Victoria permit, Number plate : YOG230
Odometer reads – 998967

Price : $10,000 or open to offers

Hi Guys,
Unfortunately the time has come, that I have to sell my Kombi van. It has been amazing to own, especially in my youth, and I’ve had so many great times and memories with him. His name is Yogi.
I have to sell him, to fund my studies for the next couple of years, and I don’t feel that it would be right to have him sitting idle in my driveway whilst I ride my push bike to Uni. Alright enough rambling for now.
Purchased this kombi in 2008, and started the renovation of him in 2009.
Work that has been done.

New Seals all way round.
New Windscreen and Seal – professionally fitted
Re-upholstered Front driver and passenger seats
New Tires ( put on in September 2011)
Wheels sandblasted, Fish-oiled, and then coated in silver paint.
Door cards re-trimmed personally.
Head Lining upholstered professionally.
Fresh paint ( Sprayed Feb 2011), Two tone Aqua and White
Sony Explode Head unit with two Panasonic 600W Subs and Amplifier, With Sony Fronts
Engine:
2 Litre
twin carbies taken back and rebuilt
Reconditioned head put in less than 3000 km’s ago.
Dipstick Temperature sender installed.
Has had regular oil changes.
Never had any major problems with the engine.
Ran like a dream to the Gold Coast and back.
Body:
Has small imperfections on the body, I will point them out to anyone who wishes to inspect.
No Excessive amounts of filler/bog used. Only to lightly skim over weld repairs. No hidden surprises.
Two tone aqua and white colour scheme, always attracts attention.
removed rust and welded in new sections in the windscreen bottom section, below the engine bay, and in the window channel of the sliding door.
The body itself is very straight.

Pop Top
Removed the pop top section and cut out all rust underneath.
Pop riveted panels in, and used small amount of filler to even them out.
Pop top canvas is in good condition for its age, small section has come away, happy to show upon further inspection.
New nuts and bolts,
New seals.

Please feel free to contact me regarding the sale of my van. Inspections are more than welcome, Vehicle is located in Box Hill. Selling without Rego or RWC, Wont take much to get one however.
Putting it on here for a week until it goes on Ebay.
Cheers, Damian
