Old Zeitschrift articles - now available

You probably already know that colour PDFs of the Club Veedub Sydney magazine, Zeitschrift, are available for free downloading at http://www.clubvw.org.au/zeitschrift

Note - 2006 to 2010 are free to everyone; 2011-12 you have to be a club member and log on with your club ID number to see them. Why not join? It's only $45 a year.

But what about 1985-2006, when PDF technology wasn't available? Well, we've started posting the best VW articles from the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s for your reading pleasure. They've been sorted alphabetically by category. So far we've done three - Ask Herr Doktor, Audis and Aussie VWs.

http://www.clubvw.org.au/oldarticles

Click on the category you are interested in. You can jump within page and back to top by clicking on the links. The photos expand by clicking on them.

This is just the start! There will be 40 categories in total so I still have to post 37 more. Future categories will be Beetles (early and late); Cooling; Fuel systems; Golfs; Herbie; Humour; Ignitions; Karmann Ghias; Kombis; New Beetle; Tech Tips; Adventures; VW Nationals and lots more.

All the text editing work is done but there's still enough work to limit me to adding one new category a week. So keep checking back!

Excellent Phil. It will be great to have much easier access to all this great information.

I have often read great articles that were in the copy of Zeitschrift sent to our club (Hastings District VW Owners) over the years, and wondered, how am I going to find this info if/when I need it one day.

From your ole' mate Jeff
