Fuel Line Clamps
Does anyone know where to buy these type of clamps in Sydney.
Norma/ABA brand.
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Just a quick search and it came up with this link..
http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=norma%20clamps&source=w...
It looks like you can order online and has pricing..I might have a gander and see if theres nominated stockists in NSW.

The problem is that I just need to try sizes first. 10 clamps will cost $30. If I get it wrong $60.
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

NORMA hose clamps
I use them on My fuel lines but bought them many years ago..
they also made normal types of hose clamps..
from stainless steel... also small fuel line ones with the band painted blue...
someone should have them...
they have the size stamped on them like 12-18mm
which I presume is the outside diameter of the hose..

Bursons or Repco stock the Norma clamps, the crimp clamps work better on the standard fuel hose.

Yes the crimp type work great but they are hard to remove on a WBX motor. 4 hours to remove a water hose clamp. Ended up using a dremel to grind it
off. If you are away from home it would be near impossible to replace a hose.
Thanks for the information but Repco don't sell them.

The 13mm ones fit the water hoses perfect.

I use thumb screw clamps, less than $2 from memory. At Bunnings in the garden watering section. Thumbs are colour coded for different sized clamps
but you can swap the thumbs around to get the colour you want.
I find it very re-assuring to be able to reach in and check my fuel lines by hand any time I have the deck lid open, rather than waiting for the times
I remember to do it while I happen to be holding a screwdriver.
Regards,
Matt.
