69 Lowlight body shell

Hi,

Ive got a 69 lowlight body shell that seems to be in pretty good nick for its age. Just the bare shell , would be a shame for me to scrap or cut it.

No suspension supplied. Im trying to fit up a dolley I have for this.

PM or ring me. 0433 150 444.

Im looking for $200 for it. In Greenbank, Brisbane.

cheers Chris

Don't let it get parted it out mate. It's a shame to not keep this in one piece and have someone build it back up.

If I had the room it would be on it's way to my place. Good luck with the sale.

Thats the only reason it is not in my shed.
It is 10 minutes from me and would save me a fair bit of heartache instead of fabricating certain panels from scratch.
But I cannot bring myself to buy it and cut it. So i am hoping someone else will.....

Thanks all. The trouble is at the moment moving it around as suspension has almost all been removed. So to remedy this I have a set of dolley wheels Im going to modify and fit so potential buyers can at least move it. I would love to build it back up but Ive got a split and I guess how many projects cana man handle at once! Thanks for the inquiries Ill post back up when Ive got it on wheels again. Cheers Chris

Put the suspension back on it and use your king and link front end with beetle irs on the split. You'll kick yourself if you don't put this together, I would say true lowlights (wide5) are even more rare than splits, only made for 2 1/2 years.

I know what you mean flipflop, it is tempting. But I need the rear end bits for the split and thats my goal right now.

Gday all,

I fitted the dolley wheels today, so its a roller. As far as whats there literally the shell, no doors no glass no suspension front or rear no engine gearbox no interior, You get the picture. It does come with a windshield regulator though:lol: It has rust here and there but is largely in good nick. It has 2 holes about 30cm square in the roof above the front seating area. It comes with the rear tailgate no glass and engine cover.

Its a pity as its a true 69 lowlight and Id love to keep it to restore but you can only have so many toys hey!

Its available to view tommorow a Slacks Creek, I wont be there but my brother will be. My phone no is 0433 150 444 to organise a time to view.

cheers Chris
