I think the front plate would be an issue..
But T bars would not worry them untill they wanted to get picky..

I'm not running bumpers at the moment as i'm not a big fan of square bumpers. I'm also on club rego so I quite often run the gauntlet. I am in the process of making t'bars at the moment.
If it's any consolation my old FX Holden (48-215) only had one plate on the rear as it had a Q plate on the rear only. Thats my arguement when I get pulled over or I'm getting my bumpers rechromed.

I ran my grey and white bug for about 2 years plus (ever since I repainted it in the rally guise) with no front plate. I always had it in my bonnet though just in case I got nabbed. My excuse was always that when I bolted it on the bumper it would scrape on speed bumps etc - although it wasn't that low. Just figured the constables would give me another chance providing I bolted it up then and there. (here was hoping).

I also had three spot lights which supposedly is not allowed (supposed to run matching pairs). Maybe I was lucky though?

I run no bumpers front or rear on my car at all. I haven't been pulled over yet(touch wood). With the plate i ran without one for about a month after i took off the front without any problems, eevn if they do pull you over, just say that ur plate got wrecked and ur waiting for a new one (only works with custom plates)

Das i think u will find that the law says the lights have to be symetrical (Spelling!!) so if u ran one in the middle you should have been ok.
