Hey Jak, has that front lip made a big difference to lift on your car? Someone suggested I try one. Is there more grip or does it just feel more
stable at speed?

G'day Bill,
If u are coming to the Porsche club next year with us I would get one. If u are not, I wouldn't bother. They are only usefull I believe at 130kph
& above, which is what u do on the track, especially Eastern Creek. BUt in saying that, u really need a wing as well as with just the front
spoiler I found the rear end to be lighter, now it's just right.
U can get one from Richard, just fix it with wing nuts so that it's easy to fix & remove for either street or track:thumb
regards
Jak

My intention is to join you guys next year. Might start off with nothing on the front of back, and then do things progressively as time goes by.
I've only ever done a couple of track days (no cams licence) and they were in my 205GTI Peugeot but it was the most fun I've ever had with
my clothes on. Can't wait to find out how a beetle feels like on a track.

I know your car from when it was built & it has the best of the best on it, it's been begging to be taken on the track for years now.
You'll have a blast!

You know it better than me I'm sure! I just read all the receipts and go wow to myself, but haven't even had it long enough to check any of
it out myself. It now has a different engine in it than a few years ago as you probably know, and to be honest I don't yet know the significance
of a lot of things that have been done to it, except that I've been told before I bought it that all the right things had been done, and done
properly. Now to test it out.....

We go faster than the photos look, honestly!
You're car looks good Jak.
Damn don't the wheels just make a car?
Those cookies are so damn ugly. I might paint them before the next round. What colour? Gunmetal grey, white, matt black... any thoughts?

Cars are looking wicked guys.
Hey CT, what about chroming or polishing the life out of your cookie cutters? I've seen it on some US show cars, looks alright too.

Hmmmmmmmmmm
I've got a set of polished wheels already. I'm now thinking that I want the cookies to look business like, because when they're on the
car I'm trying to whip as much butt as possible. At present I'm thinking black that's lightened up enought to see some detail. Or dark
silver so you really get that star or bathurst globe shape from side on.
Gee Cam that's a pretty interesting signature image you have there. Is it you?

Yeah, I think there is some race purpose coating for wheels (which give you that bathurst look), I'm not sure if it's powder coating or
anodising. But it would look mad on your cookies
Signature image? My old one or the animated one? Either way both of them are of myself, the wheelspin I must admit I ripped from a video though. None
of my mates would be brave enough to stand that close to a track, lol.
