Did you check the ebay one out?? I see it has relisted
For 2 grand it is a good buy
It is (suppose to be) a 1975 - which means rack and pinion steering. Pick of the crop.

Shame cos it's a ridgy didge 75 R&P.
I'd grab it myself if it wasn't so far away.

I'm surprised at how solid it is for a bug that has alot of signs of spending time outside - faded plates and original tail light on the left, someones fitted one of those stupid rain trays, paper cup over the dissy cap and plastic heater hoses and the window rubber chrome strips gone that lovely shade of turd brown.

But yes that guy seems to do alot of VW wheeling and dealing on ebay.

it seems very original
square cut bonnet, rubber floor mats, seems original bumpers going by the lack of rust

oh well

Hi

Saw this on Gumtree:

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/parafield-gardens/cars/vw-beetle-low-ks/100080...

Its at Athol Park Ford Motor wreckers at the moment.
Some who works there is selling it.

It's around the corner from where I work.

Looks Tidy !
