hi guys got a chance to buy a 1965 ruby red beetle without motor just asking as i have not seen many in this colour are they rare cheers

Yes
there weren't many red beetles
My Cousin had a 2nd hand one in late 60s
first one I had seen.
I didn't think it was the correct colour...lol
as its a dark red...
