nice ute but why fit new tyres and floormats with only 34000 ks on it? seems odd.

I fitted new tyres, cause the rears were low on tread (its a V8 ute at the end of the day!) & the fronts were scrubbed out & delaminated.
This would have been caused by a poor wheel alignment from the factory & wouldn't have been picked up on at the Pre-delivery
Same issues with current VW's Pre-delivery's!!!!
(on a side note, nearly 95% of the VW's I see day in & out struggle to get 30K out of a set of tyres without scrubbing the crap out of the edges
or delaminating ie. turning lumpy!)
The other side note is that the tyres were older than 5 years old, which some RWC inspectors knock as being too old, regardless of their condition.
The owner was short changed on the floormats & it came with "dealer" branded floormats, which are still with the ute. Not the genuine SSZ
mats.
So I fitted some genuine Holden Mats, as the SSZ are no longer available. So SS is as good as it gets unfortunately.
Hope this clear it up
