About time I showed my rides

Thought it was about time I put up some pics of my dubs.

It started with the 66 beetle and then came along the 69 lowlight.

Both cars have been hit with the lowering stick,(adjusters and adjust of spring plates)

Special thanks goes to Pete from Custom VeeDub for lowering the kombi, great work and kept me updated along the way and even better I didnt have to get dirty.

Hope you like.

Cheers,

Rodz

It's hammered on the beam with indian adjusters and adjustable bump stops. the rear is just turned spring plates. old school.

Running lowered empi beetle shocks on front and standard length on rear.

still feel not low enough.

I put oil ones in because I like the slower rebound, I run oil in the beetle and found they improved the ride.

my beam will hit the adjusted bump stops before bottoming out the shocks as I made sure the correct travel was in shock travel distance.
