VW TYPE III EFI conversion
Hi all,
I am converting my type III to EFI.
Do I need to replace the head to accomodate the head sensor or can it be left off?
Do I need to run the fuel line back to the tank or can it be run into the line prior to the pump?

Are you using the stock system or are you using a hybrid system with aftermarket ECU?

Hi
You need to temp sensor. If your heads have no suitable hole you could drill and tap one of the screw holes to larger size that hold down tinware to
the head near eh cylinder numbers.
The return fuel line must go back to he tank.

i saw on ebay a vdo temp sender for the head without drilling.
It loops around the base of a spark plug (like a washer), then comes back out.
Maybe that could be a solution without the need for machining.
