where can i get a factory steering wheel or copy?
Hey Guys,
Looking for a new original or replacment steering wheel for my 62 bug. I have been looking online and found a few in America but shipping is a killer.
Could anyone point me in the right direction.
Cheers,
Peter

Your best bet would be to restore your old one. POR15 actually do a kit for it but if you do a google search on restoring steering wheels, you will
find lots of info on how to do it. Otherwise, you can take it to a decent panel beater and get them to do it for you.

I don't have an old one that's the problem, the people who owned my beetle changed the steering wheel along with the whole car, trying to restore it
back to original..... found one on ebay its original and i got it for under 300.
