Chrome beading for window seals


Can anyone tell me where i can get the chrome beading that goes on the seals?

I believe You are asking about the round silver trim that sits in the window groove of Your Super beetle..

its a plastic type stuff that was used by many car companies in the 70's

I don't know who sells it in Australia but I did see some on a USA website a while back and it was very expensive..
maybe because no one uses it now..

If no VW parts shops sell it, You could look up rare spares as it was also used on Holden Toranas etc..
make sure You measure the one in Your beetle
as I'm not sure they are all the same size
