Kombi tow bars - show me yours
Hi there
I am looking for the tow bar that is the winner on neat, functional and barely noticeable.
It will go on a lowlight (fabricate it myself) so if any lowies have tow bars that will help even more.
Look forward to your input.
Marcus

Damn..........if its for barely noticeable mine is crap, but for functionality (especially strength) my lowlight rear bumper/towbar/step is hard to
beat. I had an engineering firm modify a haymann reece rodeo removeable hitch towbar (rated at 2800kg) with tube sides and a checkerplate top. They
also welded some 8mm thick tabs to the chassis to boost the mounting points to 4, so I am confident the towbar could pull 3 ton but the 1835 engine
might have something to say.

Excellent pics thanks 11cab
That is exactly what I wanted to see. I was thinking of the square hayman reese style tongue connection through the bumper.
The gussets around the "up and down" are very well done and a great idea.
Good to see it can be done.
I have just got to try and fit that into a lowlight bumper. That is the challenge for me.

The way Andrew has done it allows the bumper to sit nice and close to the bodywork which doesn't happen with the normal kombi towbars
