C Pillar Sound Deadening
As the title says, what is the best product to shove up into the C pillars from the engine side to try and cut down on some of the noise that's
echoing up into the car. I just drove my Baja for the first time in over a month and it's become evident to me that it's bloody loud!
So just looking for some ideas to try and cut down the noise. And I'm well aware that the C pillar is a big gaping hole with one side open to the
noise maker and the other side aimed into the cab.
So what have you used to baffle the noise??

From the factory they made little triangular pillows to shove up there (before they started with the foam crap).
They used left over material from the headliner with the flock type insulation stitched inside the triangle. The triangles were about 15cm along each
edge and they ended up about 8cm thick in the middle.

Sounds good. Does anyone have any pictures of these?
What is the best material to have them made out of?
They won't cause rust like the later style foam crap?

Not sure if mine got binned during my house move but they were made of a corduroy type of material with webbing around the sewn edges. They caused
very little rust over 50 yrs
madness is in the eye of the beholder

Rust proof before you fit. Ant thing that traps/holds moisture has the potential to induce rust.
