Shed clear up - SA (added a few more bits 6/6)
Name: Greg
Location: Maylands SA 5069
Contact: PM or reply in thread
Prices as listed - offers fine as I'd like to move the stuff. Prices plus post if you need.
Time to clear some things out of my shed that I can't see myself using. I'm having trouble getting pics to load up, I'll keep trying but PM me
your email address if you want to see something and I can send it through.
So what we have is:
Sherman wide 5 disc brakes for link pin front. Will need a clean up and some new bearings. $300
Interior mirror and single visor from a 58 beetle, visor will need a retrim but I think the rest of it should clean up fine. $40
Early beetle headlights from a 58. Look to be in reasonable condition, hella lenses. $100
Have a wiper assembly that I think came from a 58 beetle, but it has a 12V motor on it. Not tested, car wasn't running when I got it. $100
Have a couple of beetle steering dampers. One looks like it could be new, other one used. New $30, used $15
Early beetle bonnet hinges from a 58. Surface rust but doesn't look to have any structural rust. $30
Have a couple of 58 steering columns and column covers, and a collapsible column without cover. $40ea
Still have both pairs of hearts, mid mount and exhaust shown and priced below.
Make me an offer if you think the prices are steep!!
Flip me an email or PM if you want to see something. Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Greg

Greg,
if the Steering column and cover has the small attachment for the horn on the side, I'd like to grab one of them. Similar to the attached pic.
Shall PM if you advise that they are the same
Cheers

I'd like the type 3 dash
Can I grab a pic to benjamin@egotripp.com
And I'll have to ask a mate in Adelaide if he'll store it for me?
Unless anyone is heading to the ants from Vic and happy to collect for me?

Penguin, yes I have one of those, never noticed it before, the others are plain but one has the sleeve on the column and fitting on the column
cover.
type3disease, I'll send you a couple of pics, I'm actually stopping in Melb on Friday night to see a gig at the Palace so will be in St Kilda.

more bits
Found a couple more things:
Intermediate mount, rubber mounted with brackets to weld onto the frame horns. $140
Heart tail light housings & crusty lenses. Hopefully the pics will load, there are a couple of dents on the outside of the left housing but they
should knock out fine. Yes they look rusty but they are not rusted through. I could get them blasted and primed if you want. $280

Hi Greg, I am after a oval rear view mirror if you have one. Heath
C'mon kids gather round,
there's a new sensation hitting town,
It's moving straight, low to the ground,
it'll pick you up when your feeling down.

Hey, yeah I got your message, haven't had a chance to get on the pc yet and give you the bank details, will do a bit later tonight when I'm done
packing. I think I'm staying at the novotel in st kilda, can't remember the girlfriend booked it! Not far from the palace in any case... No need for
a cab or anything, I'll have the car so I can drive to where I need to drop the dash off.

This is the only mirror I can find Heath, has been a long time since I needed to remember the differences year to year but I would assume this is out
of one of the 58/59's I've taken apart. Don't have much in the way of oval parts these days, most of them went with the white car.

Thats cool,
Thanks for looking.
Wish I never sold the white car. So good when I look back at it.

More bits again!
Have a few more bits, with pics below -
Rubber mounted berg style intermediate mount $140
Decent set of heart tail lights, basically complete aside from the seal from the fender to housing. There is a corner cracked off one of the heart
lenses but this can't be seen when the lens is in the housing. Rear lenses look nice but for the pickier people unfortunately one is Hella and the
other one Hassia. $500
Al's headers 1 3/4 merged exhaust, new never fitted $280
Anything not listed as sold is still available, make me an offer!!
