Only 2 injectors working????
My 71 fasty has been sitting for about 8 months I put some fresh fuel I her and she fired up but only on one side. Won't idle I put a brick on the
pedel to keep the revs up a bit and pulled the injector plugs off the left side 1/3 I think and the revs didn't change. I then pulled the leads off
the top of the dizzy for those pots and if I hold the lead contact about 1/2 an inch from the dizzy cap( so I can see the spark the revs go up)but
when I plug it in the revs go down. It's got me stuffed what would cause this?? I checked the rotor button there is a small scratch on the contact
but nothing major. I read that the dizzy fires two injectors at a time how do I check this??
If the revs go up when the lead is 1/2 inch from the dizzy cap contact I figure it's getting spark but not getting power to the injectors. Thanks In
advance

Opening a gap on the leads increases the voltage of the spark, making it jump a gap it otherwise wouldn't.
The first thing I would do is fit new sparkplugs.

they could well be jammed from the old fuel varnishing. I have had it happen to 2 cars before. Also check the injector grounds. also the trigger
contacts maybe playing up only triggering one bank.
