Are you referring to the window regulator? These kits only have the glass, channels etc...

When buying one piece windows its highly recommended to source a dual lift window regulator for each door as the standard will struggle to lift the full piece of glass and eventually give way.

Yes miss Vw is correct. I have a set of the dual lifters. Anyone know how to slot them into early oval doors?

Hmm, so the "comlete" kit I got is not quit so, Thanks CVD, anyhoo I will still whack them on the Bay tomorrow, the kit as it is retails for $225, so someone will get a bargain....even if they still require dual lifters!;)

"Complete" kits never come with them unfortunately which is why most people fit them and then arent happy with the issues they get winding the windows up and down. The Dual Lift regulators give extra strength and support but also allow the windows to be wound up smoothly.

Correct me if I'm wrong folks but I think they only came out in 69 Beetles for about half a year, so when someone is either parting that model out or selling the regulators you jump on them quick.

you'll find the vast majority will be the tight arse vw community that lurk on thes types of forums, and the rest will be the general public who will be your actual bidders...
they will get last minute bids for sure... and you may be quietly surprised to see the go for more than 100 if the moons are alligned with mars etc

at $100 they are cheap - anyone considering them should buy them or make you a genuine offer, seeing that you are asking a very fair price and now also willing to take a punt on ebay and could end up with anywhere from 99c for them...

68 only but won't be of any use, they only fit fatchick doors.
67 and earlier use a totally different winder mech.

THe only thing you can put a reserve on are actual cars and bikes, not parts.

Makes me laugh all these people listing parts as "no reserve"

You can put a starting price, which like you said, makes me laugh too when people put no reserve!

Dave that's bad form mate, wasn't going to say anything but reading your last post, I will.

As discussed I was happy to pay your starting asking price of $100 plus pay for courier cost, you then called me and said since you had a lot of interest would I be willing to go to $120 plus courier, I said yes and later that day I received and email from you asking for $130 and Paypal transaction.

I am glad you got $172.50 on Ebay but don't take the piss, we are not idiots.

Ben sorry mate, I wasn't trying to do the dirty on you, You were the most keen, hence me saying will you give $120 for them, I had 4 others all chasing them and was genuinly thinking "F*** what do I do" I sent you the pics and asked for $130 as the PayPal fees are that much. I never heard back, and all the talk on here about dual lifters I thought you just changed your mind. No BS. I'm not a bad egg, look at my 100% feedback on Ebay from over 200 deals.
I dont like the bad vibes here, so please forgive me.....please
(it's bad enough that I'm an outcast for roof choppin)
