F/S 1641 engine Type 3...SOLD

I have decided to go with a bigger engine in my Squareback so will be selling the rebuilt 1641 that came with the car. The previous owner had fully
stripped the engine down. Had the crank machined and all new bottom end bearing replaced, new push rods and tubes, con rods and pistons were inspected
and were in great shape, the barrels were honed. The heads looked to have been recondition prior as we're crack free and quite clean with no leaks.
The engine comes with a 009 electronic dizzy, new headers and tuned carbies. The engine has only done a few runs so is totally fresh for your ride.
The engine has had $750 in machining and parts, not including the labour.
Looking at getting $950 for the lot.
Could be easily converted to be used in a beetle or Kombi.
