halda twinmaster / speedpilot beetle set up.
for sale. Armidale NSW
halda set up.
metal cased twinmaster and mk5 sports special speedpilot in MPH, mounted in 58-67 beetle glovebox door. inc cables, clips, drive pins, 8:1 T for
speedpilot and V-14-N T gear. also inc about 15 spare X and 4 spare Z gears, one or 2 spare clips, a spare drive pin and a spare T gear (either V-11-N
or V-17-N). edit, also an incomplete spare gear carrier set up.
to complete it, it needs a 39 Z gear (assuming you want to run it in mph), a new knob for the twinmaster as one is cracked, the twinmaster mount bolts
need shortening and a wiring harness to the internal lights. i was going to have them both rebuilt just to be sure but they seem to work ok from my
bench testing.
$2800 firm, sorry no trades.

also a plastic cased tripmaster standard check gears fitted, inc with clips, a non vw T-gear and spare 137 X and 48 Z gear. $600

Wow they have gone up in price, I sold a whole Beetle rally car in the 80s for $1500 with a twin master in it.

they have actually dropped a bit, a few years ago they were $2500 US (when the US$ was worth heaps more than ours) for the twinmaster alone.
i forgot a few bits: comes in an OG twinmaster box with master and speedpilot instruction sheets and a few other bits of literature. inc both
underdash mount brackets too.
