DREAMWEAVin' - The 'Soul' Mode of Transport 65 bug
It's been a long time coming, my car was actually purchased from this forum about 8years ago.
The bug is know by some as The DreamWeaver. One of those slow motion projects slowly evolving over time. Its my only and first car
thusfar, daily driven 24/7 for the past 8 or so years.
These pic where taken soon after I bought it in 2004

I love this thing! Whats the story behind the graphics? Is it just random or does it mean something??

Legend has it, the design was based on an accessory esky, vintage cooler with the same style plams tress.
Its the esky I am still trying to track down, but has been romoured to have been painted over.
I can't take creadit for the entire design as the majority of the design was already on the car. However it needed a tidy up and a little refinement
here and there and of corse the elements played a hand in it also.
When I bought it, it was largely soild, aside for a small amout of rot at the bottom of the RHS pillar and rot around the OG hood/bonnet seal.
Later rot was found when swopping the engine in the form of the rear bumper hangers more on that later.
For the past several years though its been reliable, soild and water proof

2004
I was in year12 just enjoying life and my first set of wheels, ahh good times.
Crusing the st kilda esplanade and doing chap laps on free periods and luches at Macas drive throughs just coz I could.
Got heaps of flack from the boy sin my year level, but the soon respected the 'pulling power' this car had.... and still has
2005
Had a stock adjusterable front beam, so was happy with that for a while.
Did an engine tidy up and tune, also rebuild 50amp alternator, as the DW has already been converted 12v.
Tidying up and adding to the design
2006
Either late 05 or earliy 06 a 2" narrowed beam was installed at DUB customs in Dandenong
Haven't seen these pics in ages, reminiscing.. must be getting old
