Looking for a Good VW Mechanic Northside QLD

Hey, I have recently moved to Chermside and I am looking for a trustworthy VW Mechanic on the Northside to give my baby some well needed attention.

I have been to several mechanics Southside who weren't always completely honest with me, so I'm wondering if there is anyone you know Northside who's judgement you trust.

Thanks, Danielle.

Probably 30mins further north, as otherwise i could just go to my Southside mechanic who is about 35mins away from here.

Im also looking to get my bonnet resprayed possibly, but need to scope out prices.
My current bonnet paint is peeling.. I don't have too much money to play with, but I dont like my car looking ugly, so if anyone knows a reasonably priced sprayer Northside, I would also love to know their names as well.

I've been working on cars for 30yrs now and owned plenty of VW and older carbed cars so if you want her looked over and save you some cash then give me a PM :)

I'm 20mins from Chermy in Ferny Grove.

If you can discern whats bullshit and what not, I recommend going to Volvo & VW centre in Rocklea. It's on Dollis St, in Salisbury. I have been to that mechanic. It seems the guy who actually does the work, does a great job, but the other people that work there will rip you off if you're not careful. I had some work done there recently and they went from 9 hours labour down to 4 on the bill when I asked what took so long. But I probably wouldn't go back there.

So Dubleg ........ which part is BS and which is for real ... let me see if I understand you ....if you get a nameless mechanic he is good and it is all good ... however if you get another namesless mechanic it is a rip off and don't go there ....right?

Not going there!

I'd certainly recommend Custom Vee Dub @ Stafford. Good and honest IMHO

Haven't heard of German Engineering at Bribie though... are they any good?
