If its a Hotel I hope there are no mozzies, if its a train better
be going in one direction only! I'm going for a static shack
style weekender!

It's just one of the 100s of converted old school buses getting around.
THe US is full of them.

Because once upon a time Kombis weren't valuable or collectable and perfect for doing that with.

What the_______?????

That last one is a samba isn't it????

We love the bus itself,.. it has great lines, love the front of it and curved rear.

Why exactly do people do this??
I mean you can walk in a bus can't you???

the last 2 are Sambas.
It's creating a pop top camper of sorts.

Most of those would have been done back when kombis and Sambas were just crappy old vans that no one wanted clogging up wrecking yards.
As i was saying its only been in the last 10 or so years they have become flavour of the moment.

They were probably used for this instead of being crushed

or used for target practice.......
