[FS - SA] 1973 Beetle Flat Screen Model = Sold

I purchased this as a project, but due to a stray kombi "following me home" last week, I no longer have the room to keep this bug under cover so am offering it for sale.

It is complete less engine and hubcaps. As shown, some time in the past it had an engine fire. Straight, rust free replacement white bonnet (boot? engine lid!) will be supplied with vehicle.

Apart from the small amount of damage under the rear window, it is relatively unscathed from the fire. The interior of the engine bay survived well, including the sound proofing material.

The body and pan are very good, with only very minor rust that I have found. Swing axle rear with beam front. Interior trim is worn but serviceable.

Asking what it owes me $500

If interested, give me a call on 0431 234 552.

Located in the Barossa. Cheers, Jesse.

This picture shows the damage when I got it. It now has a replacement bonnet.

I reckon I saw that car at the January VEC meeting.
It's a real bitzer if it is.
From memory it was a Super with the rubber dash pad removed and the dash painted and retro fitted from a 60's beetle..
Rear guards and taillights are off an Lbug.
Shame to see this happen to it, tho.

Hi, Little bit of conjecture about this bug so I thought I would post a couple more pics. I do have the running boards for it.
Would make an excellent candidate for a Baja conversion
