Turbo Mk1 Golf complete running setup

Selling my Mk1 running gear to move onto something else.

Complete running setup - All the hard work, testing & development is all done.

Turn your slow & tired Mk1 into a 13sec reliable daily driver or fun weekend car. Or risk it all, wind it up & have a 12sec time bomb!!! (Only if you have the right suspension setup!)

Currently my daily driver doing 600km a week with current fuel consumption at 32L for 450km with 13-15psi. Can still light the tyres up at 60km/h in the dry!!

Can be dangerous in the wet!!!

The first/fastest Mk1 into the 12’s in Aust

Will remove some boost & timing, as you really need to learn how to drive the car properly to drive it fast & make good use of the power & how to apply the power.

Can read about the cars build up with all the fuel line & brake line setup here

Current 5spd tall ratio gearbox (sits on 2600-2700 @ 100km/h), really requires a reverse idler gear. (noisey as hell in reverse only, but I’ll supply a old style hardened steel type). Still very drivable/usable
All the brass bushed short shifter linkage (These are modified to clear the turbo compressor housing)
HD 210mm clutch
Driveshafts to suit 100mm inner CV joints with new inner & outer CV joints fitted

Also throwing in the Mk2 Brake Booster & Master cyl. setup with all the engine bay brake lines & hidden brake lines inside the car upto & incl. the 16V rear disc Proportioning valves located under the carpet. No braided brake lines etc. Just the hard lines. Requires a brake pedal switch , as there is no brake light pressure switches on the master cyl.

PM for more details if required.

Tim.
