Sealing rubber seals

Hi, I've recently replaced the rear and side window seals as well as the seals between the rear indicator pod and the fenders on my 68 type 1. When I wash it I get bleeding of the black dye(?) from the seals. Any cloth I wipe over them also turns black. Is there a 'seal' that I can apply to the seals to stop this happening? Thanks Russ
