Sealing rubber seals
Hi, I've recently replaced the rear and side window seals as well as the rubber seal between the rear fender and the indicator pods on my '68 Type
1. When I wash the car I get a bleed of black colouring from the seals. They are WCM seals. Does anyone know of a 'seal' I can seal them with to
stop it happening? Thanks Russ

Thanks vw54, will try. A good soaking or just regular applications?

I think you're right. I bought them off ebay, they were in WCM packaging but I think I was duped because WCM rubber probably wouldn't bleed like
that. Bummer, but I have to live with it now. I guess that's the price you pay sometimes. As a good mate says "quality is remembered long after
price is forgotten". I'll give the armourall a go. Have you ever heard of a product called Gummi-Pflege?

Aparently its available through BMW and is used to condition rubber seals. Just wondered if it's any good. No worries thanks for your help.
