45 dells, if you can find a good matching set.
I've also heard from a buddy of mine in the states, the Empi HPMX can make more hp than the webers, I think Roger Crawford might have done some testing back to back on the dyno.

I run a set of 48MM drla's on the ghia with a 2276 and a set of 44 IDF's on the beetle with 2054, the dellorto's are very streetable with the FK87 and 11 to 1. you can pick them up , on the samba there are quite a few pair,
