Tony Holden Smash in Lidcombe!
Got Shazza back yesterday and very happy with Tony Holden Smash in Lidcombe. If anyone has a vintage VW in Sydney that needs repairs / resto his the
man. His in his 60's and has his sons work with him. Mainly doing vintage Fords and Holdens but also does VW's. He worked for Denlo's body shops in
the 70's repairing VW's so knows his stuff and does it the old school way
Rear bumper rechromed and straightened nothing like fresh new chrome!

Decided to get the inside of the decklid repainted

Tucked in with the 36

Also got the front rechromed as you cant just have a fresh rear shiny bumper!

yep exactly he used to tell me that Denlo carried Beetle roof sections that he had to re weld on as a lot of them would roll and damage the roof.
Showed me all the factory weld points.
Now days if a car rolls its a write off.
